The following is a disclaimer for the terms and conditions for ©Travel with Wendy travel agency, the contents of all literary, video, and sound production (blog, vlog, podcast.)
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between (©Travel with Wendy, LLC) hereafter, Travel Advisor (I) and (Client) hereafter, “you” or “your”. By engaging in my services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
TRAVEL PLANNING SERVICES PROVIDED
The Travel Advisor offers travel planning and advisory services including but not limited to:
- Travel Itinerary Planning
- Booking of flights, accommodations, activities
- Travel Insurance recommendations
- Passport and travel document assistance
- Transportation recommendations
RESERVATIONS
✅ I do not hold ©Travel with Wendy/Wendy Payne responsible for unforeseen circumstances that might occur prior, during or after my excursion, trip, tour or adventure beyond her control.
✅ I assume responsibility for READING AND UNDERSTANDING all materials before BOOKING my reservation.
✅ I have read the itinerary, the travel requirements, all passport information and will not hold ©Travel with Wendy/Wendy Payne responsible for damages, fees lost, and out-of-pocket expenses or canceled reservations.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients must provide accurate and complete information about their travel preferences and requirements.
Clients must ensure that they have valid passports with at least 6 months before expiration for travel to most EU countries as well as any other critical travel documents needed for the country(s) you will visit
Clients are responsible for understanding and complying with any travel restrictions or requirements related to their destination
PAYMENT TERMS
- A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking
- Full payment must be made by the specified deadline to secure reservations
- Payments can be made through secure link with a credit card authorization request form
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
Changes happen! I get it. After initial deposits are made they become a bit more challenging especially closer to the day of departure. For changes after the final itinerary is approved and deposits have been made there is an additional $50 per person/change fee that is assessed by ©Travel with Wendy
In addition, several suppliers now charge change fees that can range from $25-$250 per person.
- PLEASE READ AND APPROVE THE ELEMENTS OF AN ITINERARY, prior to booking.
LIABILITY
- The Travel Advisor acts solely as an intermediary between the client (You) and travel suppliers. I am not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of our services or travel arrangements
- The Travel Advisor is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes initiated by travel suppliers
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance will always be recommended and advised as you plan your trip, for every itinerary, I give two options through Allianz Travel Insurance or using Delta Vacations Package protection.
Private Tours & Escorted Tours – as a traveler, I encourage personal travel insurance for your tour
Force Majeure
Both parties agree that does not hold either Travel with Wendy, LLC or the client/travelers from fulfilling their obligations if an unforeseen event occurs. The term “force majeure” means “greater force”.
- Natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes
- Human actions like armed conflict, riots, strikes, and wars
- Pandemics, like Covid-19
- Human-made diseases
- Government shutdowns
- International disturbances, war, political instability
PRIVACY POLICY
I value your privacy and will handle your personal information accordingly. Your information will only be used to facilitate your travel arrangements
TRIPAA is similar to HIPAA. Traveling with friends or family? I will not share personal and confidential information, ever.
AMENDMENTS
The Travel Advisor reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
PASSPORTS
ONLY Passport Books are an accepted form of travel for overseas and international travel. You agree to carry and possess a Passport Book and NOT a card with at least six months before expiration on your travel plans.
Booking Agreement
By engaging Travel with Wendy, LLC’s travel planning services and approving travel bookings, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
Client approval of an itinerary and completion of credit card authorization constitutes explicit permission for Travel with Wendy, LLC to make reservations and process payments for all approved travel components outlined in the final itinerary.
Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through our secure payment system
- Credit cards will only be charged after receiving explicit electronic authorization
- Receipts will be provided for all processed payments
Chargeback Policy
By authorizing travel bookings, client agrees that:
- Chargebacks are not permitted for authorized travel bookings and services
- All disputes must be addressed directly with Travel with Wendy, LLC before involving credit card companies
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances
Cancellation Policy
Client understands that:
- Cancellation policies vary by supplier and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking
- Planning fees and booking fees are non-refundable
- Supplier penalties may apply for cancellations after booking
- Cancellations must be made in writing and may incur fees depending on the suppliers policies
- Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers and may not be guaranteed. The travel advisor, Wendy Payne, will assist if possible in obtaining any applicable refunds
- The Travel Advisor is NOT responsible for any non-refundable deposits or payments made to a third-party supplier
Acknowledgment
By proceeding with travel bookings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. This agreement serves as a binding contract between the you and Travel with Wendy, LLC.
©Travel with Wendy SMALL GROUP TOUR RESERVATIONS
Reservations for all travelers have been paid in FULL to secure your slot. Trips include accommodations and breakfast, transportation, and site tickets. Some meals will be on your own, see itinerary for more details.
Reservation deposits must be paid in full at the time of booking and pay table has been set. For cancellations less than ninety days before departure, without travel insurance and confirmed booking a refund is not possible. I apologize for any inconvenience however, most deposits, fees, and tours are paid in full. Sorry for any inconvenience.
In the event, you must cancel your tour with us, if you have TRAVEL INSURANCE, a refund or voucher may be possible based on your policy.
HEALTH AND FITNESS
Travel with Wendy Tours is appropriate for travelers in good health and with good mobility.
✅ You should be able to comfortably participate in up to three to four hours of physical activity per day. Most days this would include walking at a good pace and sometimes on uneven terrain and cobblestone, climbing stairs, and standing in galleries, palaces, and museums.
Travel with Wendy Tours is available for individuals 18 years and older. Tours must meet a group minimum prior to booking confirmation.
I have the right to refuse service to any individual under federal law, especially rude and selfish people. I will never refuse service for race, gender, color, religion, national origin, or citizenship status, EVER!
SERVICE DOGS
Due to the nature of transportation in Europe, service dogs are not possible on ©Travel with Wendy SMALL GROUP tours.
For private travel: pets are permissible if they are accepted by cruise line/resort/airline for an additional cost. The traveler must secure all applicable SERVICE DOG documentation and any testing at their own expense before departure.
Liability and Change Policy Statement Small Group Tours
By participating in a small group tour, participants acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Tour itineraries, accommodations, activities, and schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, local circumstances, or events and are outside of my control.
- While I will make reasonable efforts to maintain the planned itinerary, no refunds or compensation will be provided for reasonable modifications to the schedule, substitution of similar accommodations, or changes to included activities.
- I reserve the right to:
- Modify the itinerary for the safety and comfort of the group
- Substitute accommodations of similar quality if original options become unavailable
- Adjust activity schedules based on local conditions or group needs
Changes that constitute reasonable modifications include but are not limited to:
- Adjustment of activity timing or sequence within the scheduled tour dates
- Substitution of restaurants or meals of comparable quality
- Alternative transportation methods of similar standard
- Modification of specific activities while maintaining the overall tour experience
In the event of significant changes to the core elements of the tour, I will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements of comparable value or offer appropriate compensation at the supplier or business discretion.
As a group traveler with Travel with Wendy, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms & Conditions and agree to them.
BLOG
Even though I work very hard to provide you with up-to-date information (through extensive research while re-writing already published articles) I make no representations or warranties of any kind (expressed or implied) about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of any information, products, services or related graphics contained on Travel with Wendy for any purpose.
I post, label, and record current prices, addresses, opening hours, phone numbers, travel information, and website addresses at the time of writing. I advise you to double-check. Ultimately it would be horrible to drive over 2 hours with screaming kids in the back of the car to an amusement park that has turned into a scrap yard only three days ago.
I aim to provide you with accurate information at the time of publishing, but some information will understandably be less accurate as time passes. Should you find any inaccurate information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

In the event of an unlikable adventure, I am truly, truly sorry, sometimes it is beyond my control in regards to scheduling, flight cancellations, route changes, pandemics, societal or economic hardships and I can not be held responsible for a bad time.
I cannot be held responsible for any offense taken due to translation, interpretation or mistakes in grammar and/or punctuation on my website’s content.
Although I try to operate travelwithwendy.net 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, access to the site may be temporarily or permanently suspended, again forgive me.
