Whether you’re drawn to a small‑group land journey or a relaxed small‑ship cruise, our days will balance discovery with downtime, good food with great company, and ease from start to finish. Destinations Included In This Tour

Italy

Venice

We begin in Venice, easing into the rhythm with sunset light on the canals and a warm welcome dinner. The next days carry us gently into Slovenia: vast chambers of the Postojna Caves, then storybook Ljubljana, where a funicular ride to the castle pairs with quiet riverside cafés below. One of my favorite cities of Europe!

Slovenia - Ljubljana
Lakes Bled and Bohinj frame a soft alpine interlude, with a cable car to Mt. Vogel opening the Julian Alps.
Lake Bled - Slovenia

Crossing into Istria, truffle‑scented Motovun and sun‑kissed vineyards lead naturally toward the turquoise terraces of Plitvice, where wooden paths meander above waterfalls and forest pools.

Tucked between the Alps and the Adriatic, Slovenia blends dramatic landscapes with a warm, quietly proud spirit. From emerald rivers and karst caves to vine‑covered hills and fairytale Lake Bled, nature shapes daily life and traditions. Slovenians cherish craftsmanship, sustainable living, and a deep love of the outdoors—weekends often mean hiking, cycling, or foraging. Cuisine reflects regional influences, marrying Alpine comfort with Mediterranean freshness and a dash of Balkan spice, paired with excellent local wines and honey.

In lively Ljubljana, café culture and street festivals showcase music, literature, and design, while village customs—polkas, lace‑making, and seasonal fairs—keep heritage vibrantly alive.

Croatia

Turning coastal, Zadar’s Roman stones glow at golden hour while the Sea Organ plays, and a brief stop in Šibenik reveals the limestone grace of St. James Cathedral.

A seamless transfer south sets us aboard our small ship in Dubrovnik, the walled city rising above the blue. From here the days unfold at an unhurried maritime pace: pine‑framed lakes in Mljet National Park

Korčula’s medieval grid and sunset harbor toasts, and Hvar’s Venetian facades with time for cafés or an easy viewpoint walk.

On Brač, the white‑stone village of Pučišća offers a final quiet pause before we glide into Split to wander Diocletian’s living palace.

Thoughtful transfers and balanced pacing keep road hours short, while weather‑safe swim stops and flexible free time let you simply arrive, breathe, and enjoy the Adriatic—together.

Arrive in sun‑splashed Split where life spills onto the Riva promenade and ancient alleyways weave through Diocletian’s Palace. Along the way, savor a string of highlights: wander storybook lanes in Zadar and toast the sunset, trace turquoise boardwalks in Plitvice Lakes National Park, sample truffles and wine in Istria’s hill towns, and admire Šibenik’s gleaming St. James Cathedral.

In Split, choose to climb Marjan Hill for sweeping sea views or step inside the palace cellars and cathedral, then cap the day with fresh Adriatic seafood and local wines. We handle the logistics and timing—so every stop feels effortless and unforgettable.
