Bavarian German Christmas Markets
Join me for a magical journey through the heart of Europe as we explore some of the most enchanting Christmas markets in Germany and Austria. December 2025 this small group experience (6 travelers) will take you from the festive streets of Munich to the charming towns of Nuremberg, Bamberg, Garmisch, Ettal, and the stunning city of Innsbruck, Austria.
December 10 – 19, 2025
Kick off our holiday adventure in Munich, where the Christmas spirit comes alive in the bustling Marienplatz. We will stroll through the traditional markets, sampling delicious Bavarian treats such as lebkuchen (gingerbread) and glühwein (mulled wine) Marvel at the beautifully decorated wooden stalls and enjoy live music that fills the air as the church bells of Frauenkirche toll in the background.
Nürnberg & Bamberg
Our first town visit will be the city of Nuremberg (Nürnberg) famous for its Christkindlemarkt, one of the oldes and most renowned Christmas Markets in Germany. Explore the market’s iconic stalls filled with handcrafted gifts, ornaments and local delicacies.
We will also journey to the picturesque town of Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the quaint streets lined with medieval buildings, and visit the charming Christmas market held in the historic Old Town. Also enjoy some local specialties like smoked beer and bratwurst.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Our tour continues to the breathtaking alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Experience the winter wonderland with snow-capped mountains as our backdrop. Visit the local Christmas market filled with the season’s music, an ice rink and warm treats. We will be spending a few nights in this enchanting town
Innsbruck, Austria
Off to Austria through the Bavarian Alps leading to this Olympic town nestled in the majestic mountains that surround the Inn River. We will explore the Innsbruck Christmas market with Tyrolean delicacies and different dress and costume all celebrating the season in this Baroque city.
Christmas Market Trip Details and Availability
Double and single rooms are available upon request and are subject to availability. This price includes a service charge and fees for the private travel advisor and driver. Room availability is on a first-come/first-serve basis.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation with the remaining due July 31, 2025.
